摘要: 介绍了MDG366型给水泵的结构特点,论述了给水泵平衡套碰磨脱落引起通流中断而导致推力瓦严重烧毁事故的过程,分析事故原因后,采取了针对性的处理措施并成功进行了设计改进,提出了防止类似事故发生的检修及运行措施。

Abstract: The structure features of the MDG366 type feed water pump were introduced. Due to collision and friction, the balancing sleeve of the feed pump had dropped; and this caused the throughflow of the pump interrupt; so a serious thrust bearing overburning accident had occurred. The process of the accident was described. The reason of the accident was analyzed. Some relevant treatment measures were adopted, and the design was improved successfully. The maintenance and operation measures for preventing similar accident were put forward.
