Abstract: Abstract:Elastic metalplastics tile of large hydroelectric generating set excel then superior to imported Babbitt alloy sliding bearing in terms of friction power loss, selfadjusting ability, heat resistance, load capacity, pv value and the insulation properties; it has been the good qualities such as large safety margin, high loadcarrying capacity, long useful life and low price. For the purpose of propelling the localization of giant hydraulic turbine and break the foreign countries' monopolization of its key technology, Goupitan Power Plant technicians was based on a lot of researches and innovatively ,have a try at it application elastic metalplastics tile with thrust load capacity as large as 30000kN.After 4 years operation the result make known,when thrust load amount to 30000kN application of domestic elastic metal plastic tile,that hydroelectric unit has feature of operation stability,safety and reliability.
