Abstract: In the Huadian International Zouxian Power Plant, a benchmarking management long-effective work mechanism of‘Comparing with advanced, checking error and correcting malpractice, continually improving, uninterrupted exceeding’ was established, and adequate attention was paid to the energy-saving and consumption-reducing work. According to the actual operation of two 1000 MW units, the concrete methods and measures for energy saving and consumption reduction were analyzed and introduced. Under the rated condition, the standard net coal consumptions of units No.7 and No.8 are 282.28 g/(kW8226;h)and 281.91g/(kW8226;h),heat consumption rates are 7330.94kJ/(kW8226;h) and 7345.4kJ/(kW8226;h) respectively. Since the units were brought into production, their house service consumption rates achieve 5.22% and 5.29% respectively, and the design requirement was satisfied.
