    In the Ovation DCS, using the graphic language configuration, the calibration of the turbine governing valve servo system was realized in operator workstation. The method of the governing valve calibration and the matters needing attention were expounded. The method may be used as reference for the enterprises of the power generation, the steel smelting and the chemical industry, in which the Ovation system was used.

    The main equipments of flue gas desulphurization system and their control tasks were introduced. Some control schemes for the oil station of booster fan, the seal fan and the heater were expounded. The control scheme of bypass damper of desulphurization equipment was put forward, in which the adjustable type driving device and the switchtype driving device are combined. These schemes can be used as reference for similar flue gas desulphurization systems.

A conclusion was obtained that the allowable temperature and the temperature rise of the motor stator/rotator are not only associated with the insulation class, but also restricted by the thermal expansion of the stator/rotator or the air gap. 

    The concept of deep reducing the outlet gas temperature was introduced. The internal relation between the deep reducing the outlet gas temperature and the chimney corrosion prevention was analyzed. The evaluation of the additional cold source loss of the steam turbine in the deep energysaving system was discussed; and the key technology of heating surface corrosion prevention design was researched, here the corrosion is caused by the lower outlet gas temperature. It was pointed out finally that the scheme of deep reducing outlet gas temperature must be formulated according to the practical situation of the unit to get the maximum of the increased electricity.

    The wind farm sitting is the primary work in the construction of wind-electric power plant, it includes macro and micro sitting. Macro sitting is the major work at the stage of prophase planning which need to evaluate the wind energy resource by using the data collected from local weather stations and consider the power network, transportation, geology etc. While micro sitting is the main work at the stage of design, at this stage the site of every unit will be fixed according to the distribution map of wind energy resource and correlative restrictive conditions so that the demand of the client and the relevant departments can be satisfied and the better economic and social benefit of the wind farm can be gained. In this paper the sitting process was introduced and the suggestions were proposed based on one coastal wind farm.

The characteristics of hybrid SNCR-SCR de-NOX process, and compares it with SCR process and SNCR process technically and economically ware introduced. It has been certificated by the practice that the hybrid SNCR-SCR de-NOX process can keep high efficiency with lower coast by eliminating the ammonia injection grid (AIG) and decreasing catalytic volume, therefore it’s a flue gas treatment technology on which should be pay attention.

At the present stage, many supercritical units, ultra supercritical units, GTCC, IGCC, large capacity air-cooled units have been adopted and home-made, renewable energy is rapidly developing. Waste combustion gases and waste heat are effectively utilized. The relevance policy is implementing. All of these will provide support for the power industry’s development in the way of scientifically, coordinately, rapidly, efficiently and ordinarily.

    Application of desulphurization synergist in thermal power plants

    The experiment of using desulphurization synergist in 600MW unit desulphurization equipment of a power plant was introduced. Originally, it was necessary to run three slurry circulating pumps to make the SO2 emission concentration can meet the requirement of related standard. After the desulphurization synergist had been used, the desulphurization efficiency was increased obviously, and only two slurry circulating pumps must be run for the same target; the electric energy consumption was decreased by 951kW·h in a hour. After the desulphurization synergist had been used, the characteristics of the slurry in FGD system and the desulphurization gypsum does not vary obviously; especially, the mass fraction of Cl- and the pH value do not vary obviously, which shows that the desulphurization synergist would not enhance the corrosion of the system, and it would not influence on the gypsum quality too. So, the using of desulphurization synergist has obvious economical benefit and social effect, and does not cause negative influence on the desulphurization system.

    The reverse osmosis concentration method and the crystal seed process are desulphurization wastewater subsequent depth treatment methods commonly used at present, but the treatment results of the methods are not so ideal. A composite method, which include pretreatment softening + mechanical steam recompression cycle evaporation + trieffects mixed flow forced circulation evaporation crystallization + centrifugal drying package technology, was adopted; and the disadvantages of the commonly used methods were improved. In this composite method, the wastewater will be treated by softening, evaporation, crystallization, drying and packaging, and will be emitted as steam or will be closed and buried as sewage sludge at last. This method with zero discharge of the liquid wastewater has favorable social and economical benefit.
