Abstract: Abstract:The application of DCS flow compensation calculation configuration of Emerson OVATION system was taken as practical example. The first step is to obtain the flow calculation sheet of the flow measuring devices. Then, according to practical fluid characteristics, the next step is to select the correct and verified flow compensation formula to form calculation configuration and to calculate using standard flow unit. Afterwards, the small flow measurement signals can be removed rationally for obtaining accurate flow calculation data. The application of the flow compensation calculation configuration can create favorable conditions for safe and stable operation of the unit.
