Abstract:According to the requirement of national standard: Code for Design of Fire Protection for Fossil Fuel Power Plants and Substations (GB 50229—2006), the coal conveyer belt must have an over temperature detector. This paper designed an over temperature detector and water spray suppression device for the coal conveyer belt of a coalfired power plant. This system has the features of easy operation, high sensitivity, easy maintenance and highlevel automation etc.
