Abstract: Implementation of equipment condition based maintenance in electric power enterprises is an inevitable trend. The design method of equipment condition based maintenance system was introduced. The function and core techniques of the system were described, which includes the main information source of system database, main techniques adopted in this system and the association between the system and information system. The matters needing attention in procedure of condition based maintenance were pointed out.
