Abstract: With the increment of desulphurization projects, how to ensure the stable operating of large capacity desulphurization equipments is getting more attention. Familiar malfunction of the desulphurization booster fan was introduced in view of 2×600 MW units(project iii ) and 2×1000 MW units(project iv) in the Zouxian Power Plant during commissioning. The malfunction problems were analyzed from the design, the installment, the operating and the overhaul. The corresponding processing measures were taken, which avoided the accident.
