Abstract: Coal pulverizing system is an essential part of coalfired power plant. The power consumption of this system is comparatively high. It even reaches to 20% of service power for pulverizing system with ball mill and intermediate silo. It is a historic problem to perplex power plant that how to decrease the unit consumption of coal pulverizing and the service power, and heighten the economic benefit of plant. This thesis gave the analysis for optimized way of pulverizing system with intermediate silo, and some concrete measures & suggestions base on the problems of this system in Jiaozuo Wanfang Power Corporation Limited. The unit consumption of the pulverizing system has decreased 12%～17% after the measures & suggestions were implemented in 2008.
