Abstract: Based on the fuel oil status of different kinds of units, which were belonged to the State Power Corporation Limited, in different conditions from 1999—2000, the oil consumptions of different kinds of units were analyzed, the application conditions of plasma oilless ignition technique and tinyoil ignition technique were introduced emphatically, the performance characteristics of them and the matters needing attention in the application were discussed.
