Reason analysis of beaker refusal of action and relevant countermeasure

Abstract: The Aphase grounding fault of 110kV Qiahe No.1 line in Qiafuqihai Hydropower Station of Xinjiang Ili River Basin Development and Construction Administrative Bureau was occurred. After that, the line protection acted correctly, but Aphase breaker rejected to trip, the local backup protection (bus) rejected to act, and remote backup protection acted and caused accident scope expansion. The accident field operators considered the problems unilaterally, and this leaded trial power transmission to be failure and the accident scope to expand once again. The reason of the accident was analyzed. According to the concrete condition after protection action, and according to the protection and fault record message, a scientific decision was got, and the accident expansion was avoided.
