Abstract: The problem of copper encrustation created in high pressure cylinder of No.1 subcritical unit turbine in Liaoning Huadian Tieling Power Generation Corporation Limited was researched. The reason of copper encrustation creation was analyzed, and relevant prevention measures were put forward. The practical operation shows that the starting up water quality was obviously improved due to adopting the measures.
