Abstract: The oil leakage faults of combination bearing of two bulb tubulous turbines were occurred in Chaozhou Water Supply Project, and safety production of the two units had been influenced seriously. The combination bearing had been disassembled. It was found that the gland packing was aged; and serious corrosion was occurred in the shaft of unit and thrust runner. The reasons of oil leakage of combination bearing were analyzed; some relevant treatment measures were adopted; and satisfactory effects were obtained.
