Abstract: Taking the 390H hydrogencooled generator of the Huadian Hangzhou Banshan Power Generation Corporation Limited, which was put in production in 2004, as example, comparing the electrical test instruction of GE Corporation with the domestic standard, according to the insulating material and the process of the stator winding, the reasons of the difference between the china standard and the foreign standard were analyzed, and the relevant electrical test method of hydrogencooled generator stator winding (epoxymica insulation system) was determined. The electrical insulation supervision was accomplished preferably. 
