Abstract: The cool terminal corrosion of air heater is occurred unavoidably in sulfur coalfired boiler; even, the heat exchange element could be badly damaged and blocked; and this could cause the overlarge pressure difference of gas duct and the induced draft fan stalling, even cause the boiler shutdown. The heat exchange elements were replaced by enameled elements. After the reformation, the problem of cool terminal corrosion was solved fundamentally. 
