Abstract: Two design ideas and schemes for steam turbine reformation in Guangzhou Hengyun Cogeneration Power Plant were introduced, in which the exhaust of high pressure cylinder and the extraction steam from 3 sections are used as heatsupply steam source point respectively. The exergy losses of the high pressure cylinder exhaust heatsupply and the 3 sections extraction steam heatsupply were analyzed using the exergy method. The conclusion was obtained that the scheme of extraction steam heatsupply from 3 sections has smaller exergy loss, but the scheme of high pressure cylinder exhaust heatsupply is more flexible.
