Abstract: The reason of high consumption of fuel oil during the startup and shutdown of the 300MW coalfired unit of Yunnan Huadian Kunming Power Generation Corporation Limited was analyzed. The multiple improvement measures were adopted. The oil consumption during the startup and shutdown of the unit was obviously decreased, and the purpose of safe and economical operation was realized.
