Abstract: The coal jamming in boiler minerun bin will greatly decrease asfired fuel quantity，the coal jamming occurred in two or more coal bins will cause the flameout fault in boiler, which will seriously influence the safety operation of boiler and increase the consumption of combustion supporting oil. the analysis that the reasons of coal jamming include the change of coal variety (decrease in the coal partical size, increase in the water content) and the unreasonable local design of coal handling system ,etc. Aiming at the abovementioned reasons, the countermeasures have been adopted, and the good results were obtained.
