Abstract: Based on numeric simulation, the critical rotating speed of the steam turbine rotor was calculated. The influence of the position, in which the unbalanced mass exists, on the vibration amplitude under working rotating speed was analyzed; and the relation between the vibration amplitude and the position of unbalanced mass was obtained.
