Abstract: The reasons of a unit tripout accident caused by abnormal melt of the fuse in PT primary side in the generator outlet were analyzed. The defections in the selection of PT primary fuse and in the voltage sampling mode of the protection device were pointed out; the improvement and preventive measures were put forward.
