Abstract

Abstract: The classification and characteristics of partial discharge signal of high rating generator, and the application of PDA monitoring method in stator insulation monitoring were introduced.The influence of the capacitor coupling unit in the partial discharge online monitoring system and its frequency response on performance of monitoring system was analyzed qualitatively. The application of PDA technology in partial discharge online monitoring of 150 MW No.2 generator of Huadian Tengzhou Xinyuan Thermal Power Company Limited shows that this technology can analyze and diagnose, and can correctly judge the problem existing in generator insulation to give evidence for company to arrange and implement the maintenance plan.
