Abstract: Combining with the features of cabling engineering design for thermal control system in thermal power plant, the functions and application process of the cable laying software was expounded. The application of this software in practical project shows that the software has advantages in multiple aspects, such as improving work efficiency, increasing the design depth, increasing the accuracy of designed material amount, decreasing project management cost, reducing the risk of total contracted project, lightening labor intensity and eliminating human error.
