Abstract: The working principle, the characteristics and the application of the flame detector system were introduced. The reasons of various faults of the flame detector system were analyzed. Some methods for enhancing the reliability of the flame detector system were listed, which can be used as reference in prevention for similar large boiler in explosion prevention and ensuring its safe operation.
