Abstract: The application of the belt conveyor in hydropower stations was introduced. Combining with the practical dirt cleaning system project of the hydropower station of Hunan Dayuandu Navigation and Hydropower Project, the arrangement of whole machine and the structure form of the belt conveyor for hydropower station were expounded. The design features of the belt conveyor for hydropower station were analyzed. After the belt conveyor was put into service, the satisfactory effect was obtained.
