Abstract: Combining with the service condition of the hydraulic coupler of reclaimer bucket wheel drive station in Shenhua Tianjin Coal Dock Company Limited, taking the protection modes of other site equipments as reference, a reformation scheme for protecting the safe operation of hydraulic coupler was put forward. The scheme design process, the installation and implementation of the reformed protection device and its operation and maintenance were introduced. After the scheme implementation, through the test of site operation, the expected effects were achieved.
