Abstract: Using the software ANSYS, the static and selfvibration characteristics of the Ushaped gate and the corresponding plate gate structure under different operation conditions were analyzed and calculated. The differences of the two structures in stress, displacement and selfvibration characteristics were compared. The study result offers technical basis for perfecting the design of the Ushaped gate and provides reference for the design and calculation of similar gate structures.
