Abstract: The excessive current of the booster pump of the YNKn300-200-20Y/J turbinedriven feed pump in Yunfu Power Plant was analyzed, and the possible reasons were inspected one by one. It was found that the erosive wear of the sealing surface of the pump case and the sealing surface of the pump end cover causes larger leakage, and the larger leakage leads excessive current of the motor. The spray coating treatment was adopted for the sealing surfaces, and the current of the motor returned to normal value.
