Abstract: Due to the requirements of use functions, in one industrial building, the storey heights often are not the same, and the open pores on the floors are larger, which lead the irregularity of the structure in vertical and horizontal directions. The influences of the interstorey shear bearing capacity ratio and the limit value of the interstorey displacement angle on the irregular frame structure were analyzed combining with practical engineering project and using the PKPM finite element calculation software. When the limit value stated by relative specification can not be satisfied, it is able to adjust the structure arrangement to meet the requirement of the structure calculation and the technical equipment layout.
