Abstract: There were many problems in magnetic flap type level gauge used in water treatment system of the 300MW unit in Lianfu Power Plant. According to the theory of pressure transmitter, the magnetic flap type level gauge for large open container was reformed. The result of the reformation is favorable. At last the extended application of the pressure transmitter in liquid level measurement domain was introduced.
