Abstract: Aiming at too high temperature rise of the magneticlevitation bearing device of the hydraulic turbinegenerator unit caused by poor ventilation, a solution to set up certain amount of vents was presented. Using the finiteelement analysis software ANSYS, the simulation analysis on the temperature field and the magnetic field was carried out. The results show that to set up the vents can reduce the temperature of coil of the magneticlevitation bearing device greatly, and the temperature rise requirement of the system can be satisfied.
