Experimental research on combustion optimization for 600MW subcritical boiler

Abstract: Aiming at the 600MW subcritical drum boiler of Guohua Ninghai Power Plant, an experiment of combustion optimization control was carried out. Under different load, some measures, such as to change the air distribution mode, to reduce the parameters of the primary air and to control the oxygen properly, were adopted. Under various load points, the power consumption of the three fans (the induced draft fan, the forced draft fan and the primary air fan) was reduced. The mass concentration of the NOx emission was reduced. The overall economic efficiency of the boiler was improved. Simultaneously, the capacity margin of the fans was increased. According to the experimental results, the boiler optimal operation instruction sheets were formulated, which can be used as reference for economic operation of boiler of power plant.
