Abstract: The research, application, structure and performance characteristics of the domestic and foreign electricbag composite dust collectors were expounded. Aiming at the application effects of domestic electricbag composite dust collectors, the influence of the ozone generated by highvoltage electric field on the service life of the PPS filtering material and the influence of the gas flow distribution between the electric zone and the bag zone on the performance of the dust collector were analyzed. The electricbag composite dust collector is suitable for application in precipitator reformation project for efficiency improving，and in order to ensure the precipitator to operate normally and perfectly, it is necessary to select the filter material with strong antioxidant ability and to reduce the secondary voltage of the precipitator electric field. For new projects, especially the projects without the semidry desulphurization and SCR denitration devices, the electricbag dust collector is not recommended.
