Abstract: Abstract:The phenomenon of output transmission line tripout accident successively occurred in Togtoh Power Generation Company Limited caused by freezing rain disaster and the accident treatment process were introduced. The influence of extreme weather on the transmission line was analyzed, and the formation conditions of the line ice coating and the characteristics of the ice coating were analyzed too. The preventive measures of the accident and several effective deicing methods were proposed.
