Safe shutdown scheme of power units after 500kV output line tripped

Abstract

Abstract: Abstract:Extreme rain and snow weather occurred at the winter of 2012, and this caused three 500kV output transmission lines of Togtoh Power Generation Company Limited tripped successively. The operation mode of companywide units before the lines tripped and the treatment process of the line tripout accident were introduced. The measures to ensure the units to stop safely and orderly and to prevent the auxiliary power system and auxiliary steam system to be all failure after partial or all 500kV output lines tripped were discussed, which are helpful to avoid damage of unit equipments.
