Abstract: In the AP1000 nuclear power plant, the protection and safety monitoring system (PMS) is a safety I&C system, which is designed based on the Common Q platform. Before the plant is put into operation, in order to ensure the PMS can satisfy the designed system function requirement, using the overlap test method, the PMS preoperational test was carried out. Combining with the structure and function of PMS, the PMS preoperational test was introduced and analyzed in this paper, which can be used as reference for preoperational test.
