Abstract: Abstract:The reasons of higher energy consumption of 300MW unit with bin storage pulverizing system during sliding parameter shutdown process were analyzed. By means of replacing the pulverized coal in each bin, it was ensured that during shutdown process the pulverized coal feeder can feed the pulverized coal uniformly, and the combustion can remain stable. So the need to inject oil to help the combustion was decreased greatly, and the shutdown oil consumption of the unit was reduced. Some measures were adopted, which include to run single circulating water pump and condensate pump, to do not start the electric feed pump for water feeding to boiler, to stop the unit with deep sliding parameters and so on, and the power consumption of the unit for shutdown was reduced too.
