Analysis on reason of tripping accident of generator stator grounding protection

Abstract

Abstract: Abstract:The operation situation of the 600MW coalfired turbogenerator set and its generatortransformer set protection in a power plant was introduced. Based on inspection and test, it was found that there was stagnant water in the rubber sleeve in lowvoltage side of the main transformer, and which caused the generator stator grounding protection tripping accident. The concrete reformation and preventive measures were proposed.
