Application scheme of differential protection of noninteger points phaseshift transformer

Abstract

Abstract: Abstract:The reasons of noninteger phase shift of transformer and the features of the noninteger phase shift were introduced. Taking RET670 transformer protection device manufactured by ABB Group in Swiss as example, the influence of the noninteger phaseshift transformer on the differential protection was analyzed. An application scheme combining the additional auxiliary CT compensation with the device software improvement was proposed.
