Abstract: Abstract:Taking M Power Plant as example, the relationship between the coal caloric value, the unit price of standard coal and the generation standard coal consumption rate was analyzed. The method to determine the generation coal caloric value was given. It was pointed out that for the coalfired power enterprises far from coal mine, in order to realize maximization of the power generation benefit, the coal caloric value must be selected in the range between the minimum of coal consumption rate and the minimum of the coal cost of unit electricity generation.
