Abstract: Abstract:The material characteristics and the economic efficiencies of the filament wound FRP pipe and the concrete box culvert were compared. The advantages of the seafloor water supply and drainage engineering of an oversea thermal power plant, in which the FRP pipes were used, were illustrated. The construction scheme of the FRP pipe was introduced in detail, and the key points and the innovations of the technology were summarized.
