Frequent fault cause analysis and treatment for air intake switching valve of small size steam turbine in power plant

Abstract:In a power plant,faults like valve automatically open,cut off valve not in place,oil leak and fire always happen in highpressure air intake switching valves of small size steam turbine since the 1000 MW unit was put into operation in 2010.These problems are solved effectively through such control methods as the corresponding upgrade of switching valve servomotor, cylinder oil inlet changing into dual control, and switching to the higher reliable servo valve.
