Abstract:Steam blowing technique is commonly used for traditionalsootblower of an air preheater,but it is less effective and its maintenance is more difficult.Moreover,a large amount of ammonium hydrogen sulfate is generated after the denitration system is put into operation, which exacerbates the ash blocking of air preheater and caused its lower heat transfer efficiency,higher current and resistance of flue gas side. For the ash blocking on the No.1 air preheater of Inner Mongolia Jinglong Power Generation Company Limited,the authors attempted to use a new type tunable high intensity sonic sootblower to solve the question and the soot blowing effect is improved obviously,the operation parameters of air preheater are also superior to that of a steam sootblower.This paper provided a new method and solved the problems of the poor effect of a steam sootblower and the blowing loss of heat exchanger components.
