Application research on remote monitoring and diagnosis of excitation system for generator

Abstract:The general application of high capacity and high parameterized unit in the electrical power system brings up higher demands on the reliability of excitation system, thus it is very important to study on the application of remote monitoring and diagnosis of excitation system.Five modules have been studied according to key point of excitation system state monitoring:state monitoring and assess module,evaluation of excitation system exceptions and statistics of fault type module,evaluation of state monitoring of PID adjuster module, evaluation of state monitoring of PSS adjuster restraining low frequency oscillation module,evaluation of state monitoring of excitation regulator internal restriction and fixed value protection module.These studies have covered every aspect of excitation system and provided technical support to safety running and equipment maintenance.
