Abstract:

Abstract:A fault record file analysis method was introduced. In the method, the modern simulation software MATLAB and PSCAD were combined to analyze the fault record file based on COMTRADEformat to obtain the original data of relay protection devices during power equipment fault. The method can be used in behavioural analysis, fault reappearance,fault simulation and accident identification for relay protection tripping, which is an effective auxiliary way to solve practical problem.
