Analysis on reason of damage of air preheater lower bearing of 1000MW ultra supercritical unit

Abstract:The air preheater LAP17286/2250, manufactured by Dongfang Boiler Works Group Corporation Limited, was selected for the 1000MW unit of China Huadian Corporation. The lower bearing damage fault of the air preheater occurred three times for recent years. The fault was analyzed. Some improvement suggestions were proposed, which include to enhance the manaement of spare cceptance check, to normalize the technical management and others. The unit safe and stable operation was ensured.
