Abstract:This paper analyzed the main reasons of that the availability factor of photovoltaic panels is easy to decrease during runtime. Under the given conditions, through a statistical analysis of the generating capacity of photovoltaic panels before and after cleaning, the relation curve between the cleanliness and the generating capacity of photovoltaic panels is provided. After that, the optimal cleaning frequency of photovoltaic panels is obtained and this helped to improve the utilization potential of equipment on the basis of controlling cost. Photovoltaic power plants can set a cleaning schedule based on their situation and the relationship between the cleanliness and the generating capacity of photovoltaic panels. This paper provided a theoretical basis for the cleaning work and improved the economic effect of photovoltaic panels.
