The reasonable application of frequency converter in coal fired power plant

Abstract:In order to achieve the goal of saving energy and reducing consumption of 300 MW coal fired unit,additional frequency converter was installed on auxiliary electric motor in a certain power plant.After the installation,a tracking analysis of equipment running status was conducted and the corresponding treatment methods of problems occurred were given in this paper,which provided a reference for the energy saving and consumption reducing work of similar units.
