A retrofit of the No.2 boiler burner of Tianshan Aluminum Company Limited

Abstract:For the Self generation Power Plant of Tianshan Aluminum Company Limited, the mass concentration of NOx which emissions from the No. 2 boiler reaches up to 500mg/m³(standard state, dry basis, reduces to 6%O₂). In order to reduce the denitration cost and prevent the clogging of air preheater that influence the overall output of boiler, a retrofit of wide coaltype adaptability,deep low nitrogen and anti clogging combustion was conducted.After the retrofit,the coking phenomenon of burner is not found any more and the mass concentration of NOx is effectively reduced with small fluctuation.
