Abstract:This paper analysis the reason of high air leakage rate of No.5 and No.6 rotary air preheater. Based on malpractice of apex seal of rotary air preheater and the characteristic of heat transfer elements, this paper brings up a radial seal transformation plan. After this transformation, the air leakage rate declined obviously.
