Abstract:Ash deposition and air leakage existed in a power plant’s circulating fluidized bed boiler tube type air preheater. After analyzing the equipment structure, fired coal type and operation condition, poor equipment design and installation, and poor air heater drain control are the main causes. By equipment maintenance, technology improvement and adding adjustable soot blower, the safety, satiability, reliability and cost efficiency were ensured.
